About me!
(My favourite subject!)
Thank you for asking! Well, like I said, I'm Toby. I'm years old and I really like languages. At time of writing, I work in the computer networking sector and primarily work with SMPTE-2110-based broadcasting systems. I find broadcasting and TV interesting enough, but networking is what I like most about my work. When it comes to languages, my native language is Dutch, but I'm fluent in English, roughly B1 in Chinese (Mandarin), Spanish and French, and have some fundamental knowledge in Arabic, Russian, Scandinavian (I hope you don't mind if I group these together) and Esperanto. But just because a certain language isn't listed here doesn't mean I'm not interested in it. I love all languages.
Achievements
- I am CCNA certified.
- I passed the HSK-2 exam with a perfect 200/200 score.
- I have been working for the Dutch house of representatives for about half a year.
- I am a really happy person!
- I understand some parts of the Linux kernel source code (basically just the networking bits)
- I actually, genuinely understand what a Not-So-Stubby Area is.
